Kalamaki is located south of the prefecture of Heraklion, in the bay of Messara with the most beautiful sunset in Crete as the sun sets all year round in the blue waters of the Libyan Sea.

The small seaside settlement of Kalamaki, despite the passage of time, retains its very friendly and family atmosphere.

It is therefore an ideal place for a relaxing holiday, away from the noise by the sea… all along the beach you will find cafes and taverns, while there are sunbeds and umbrellas on the beach as the beach is organized and has a blue flag since 2019.

At a distance of 8 and 15 km, you will find Tymbaki and Myros, where you will find all the banks, the health centre and various shops.
